Just the Best: On Finding Yourself, Activating Your Dream, & Fearlessness

NEW EDITION | Links for Personal Growth + Development
Here’s my selection of the absolute best articles to help you heal and shine and be a beacon of light for others.

I’m including a selection of articles to encourage those who feel fear, depression, and uncertainty during this U. S. presidential transition.  I’m having those feelings sometimes too.  However, I felt hope seeing people of all different faiths, backgrounds, and colors as I traveled over the holiday and know this is the time to commit to equality and justice for all.

Near the end,  there’s a few links, including a few of my own articles, to help you get a hold on the holidays before they get a hold on you.

On the movie scene > I highly recommend The Dark Horse, a story of hope, community, and empowerment.  For an infusion of joy, see Trolls, Find Your Happy Place.  These look so provocative! I’ve put them on my watch list >  5 Documentaries That Will Inspire Minimalism

For Holiday Sanity

I know, the list is way too long this time.  But I hope you find something here that makes a positive difference in your life.

Which articles spoke to you? I would love to hear.

Thank you for being here.  If you enjoyed this article, please share it with others, every share makes a big difference.  Thank you!  May you be well, happy, and safe – always. With love, Sandra

  1. Thanks for sharing such a great list Sandra…I think Elizabeth Gilbert usually has something to say that’s worthwhile me hearing. So that will be my pick. 🙂

And I like the infusion of joy idea with your movie picks…will definitely check them out.

    • Hello Elle,

Princess Poppy from Trolls has definitely effected my life in a positive way. Completely into hugging, singing, and dancing. Whatever you check out, enjoy!

  2. Wow, this is a long and thoughtful list of resources Sandra. Thank you for including mine in among them.

Well you won’t have to twist my arm to watch Trolls 🙂 and I’ll look forward to making my way through the rest of the list slowly. Much love!

    • Oh my goodness, another Troll fan. I’m in love with Princess Poppy and definitely incorporating her hugging protocol. It is a long list this time, Liz. Sometimes, I just can’t resist. As always, I’m happy to including your articles which always help us to live more authentically.

  3. I shared several of the articles on my FB page, and want to go back and read more! The list of books on racism is amazing and I know I won’t read them all but maybe a few that really surprised me. Thanks for all of this, Sandra. I haven’t been to a movie in years but Trolls tempts me, especially since I have a collection of the little buggars! 🙂
    Love to you!

    • Hello Dear Jean,

So glad this list resonated with you. I thought that book list was amazing too. There’s so much more I need to learn about racism. Trolls was so fun for me. Lots of love and hugs in the movie.
