Calm Your Mind, Ease Your Heart, Embrace Your Inner Wisdom

Nothing Is Impossible!

Nothing is impossible when we set our hearts and minds to it!

This amazing 3-minute video of the Paraguay Landfill Harmonic illustrates how you can even turn trash into miracles, and at the same time, make a child’s dream come true.  Watching this video might just be the most special part of your day.  By the way, if you’re not reading on the blog, click here to see the video.

I’ve taken a short intermission from writing due to illness, but I think you will find this video very meaningful.  Let me know in the comments.

  2. I love the story of the Landfill Harmonic–I heard about it at church a few weeks ago as well. It certainly does illustrate that nothing is impossible! And please take care of yourself, Sandra–hope you feel better soon.

    • Hi Charlotte,

The story is making the rounds and I’m glad. There are so many valuable lessons in this story!

I’ve never met such a nasty bug before! I don’t think it will last forever, but sometimes it feels that way. But, I am taking care. I’m getting more rest and have had 2 acupuncture treatments. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

  3. What a wonderful way to start my Friday and as you say such a great story that will inspire so many. Sorry to hear you are still unwell. Your body sounds like it is making you rest. Have you joined in Deepak’s 21 day healing meditation it is very good sending you healing energy, light and love xx

    • Hi Suzie,

So happy the video got your Friday off to a wonderful start. Yes, my body is quite insistent at the moment, but I could rest even more. Thanks for the tip on the healing mediation.

  5. Beautiful video! Sorry to hear that you are unwell. Hope you get better soon. Love and hugs xxx

  6. Hope you are recovering! I love finding out about things like this trash into music project. The ability and intent to take raw material and transform it into art is a reason to be hopeful about human nature.

    • That’s exactly how I felt, Mike. And, that’s why I called this post, “Anything Is Possible.” It gave me hope for humanity too. A little kindness goes a long way.

  7. Sandra,

I love string instruments, especially the violin. My oldest two girls played violin from toddlers through high school. We had many violin/music-centered activities.

Have you ever seen the movie, The Red Violin, starring Samuel L. Jackson? It is a stirring saga that covers many decades with a violin at the center of the story. It’s one that I can watch over and over and get the same joy each time.

I sent you an email about a possible fix for resizing your video.

Please pamper yourself and get well.

    • Thanks for the movie suggestion. No I haven’t seen it! I’m happy for how string instruments have brought so much enjoyment into your family’s life.

Thanks for the idea for how to resize my video. I would love to pamper myself!

  8. Thanks so much for sharing this video- truly amazing! I hope you feel better soon.

The video is truly amazing. It is all in how you view things, isn’t it?
I am sorry you are sick, Sandra. Sending you love and healing energy!

    • Hi Jean,

How we perceive is everything! That doesn’t excuse injustice, but our perception makes a big difference. Thanks for your loving, healing energy. I really appreciate it!
