Always Well Within

Calm Your Mind, Ease Your Heart, Embrace Your Inner Wisdom

The Amazing Power of a Little Girl’s Wish

This short video will touch your heart and uplift your day!  If you are like me, chances are a gush of tears will flow too.

This is the story of a nine-year old girl who made a wish that came to fruition in a powerful way.  It illustrates how our thoughts, words, and actions ripple out to touch others for better or for worse.  Rachel reminded me that the way to transform our inner and outer world is to choose our thoughts, words, and actions carefully, and infuse them with positive motivation for ourselves and others.

  1. I have no words. Only tears. And a pledge in my mind that I’ll work harder to meet my own charity goals. Thank you Sandra. What a wonderfully inspiring video. Hugs!

Thanks for sharing that wonderful story truly moving yes I too had tears and thought about what you had written of how important it is to be so thoughtful about the words and thoughts we choose- they can make a difference a big difference. Vidya inspires me too with her pledge- food for thought.

Thanks Sandra Pawula for the stuff you get from the internet, it’s so touching, so inspiring and so true. The video has reminded me the kid we always carry with us, the innocence and the good will we all have within us. All these we forget so rapidly, so we need sites like yours to keep remembering. You’re doing good.

    • You’re welcome, Maria. It brings me so much joy and inspiration too so I feel very fortunate and lucky. I really like your take on this as a reminder of the “innocent kid we always carry within”. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could touch that spot more often? Thank you for your encouragement. It means a lot to me.

  5. Thanks for sharing this. Just wonderful and so touching. I am crying. It sure exemplifies how something good can come out of something tragic.

I was gushing tears too! It is a reminder that we can triumph over tragedy and that’s a lesson you are teaching us all as well.

  6. Hi Sandra,
When we get to the end of our lives it won’t matter how much money we made or what kind of job we had. What matters is what kind of person we have become and how we effected other people in our lives. Life is about people.

This young girls short life was/is an inspiration for us all. 🙂

  7. Justin, That’s really the perfect measure isn’t it? What will be important to us when we die? Thanks for pointing that out.

  8. Wonderfully inspiring video…and yes you’re right…I cried. So sad and such a poignant reminder that it’s all about who we are inside that truly counts.

    Thanks for sharing this Sandra.
    Love Elle

  9. How inspiring, thank you : )

I feel as though it is affirmation that heart whispers are responded to/answered even when we are physically removed…what power in authenticity and community. Thank you for the beautiful reminder 🙂
